Berserk Manga Chapter 330 introduces Chitch, a tiny spirit living inside a flower in the prison cell where young Guts is being held. Believing her to be a hallucination at first, Guts gradually realizes that Chitch is real when she uses her flower’s leaves to heal his wounds and ease his suffering. For the first time in his harsh childhood, Guts experiences genuine kindness without expecting anything in return. Chitch grows attached to him, fearing that he will leave her alone once he recovers. Touched by her loneliness, Guts promises to take her to a field full of flowers when he escapes.
